How we write, check and correct what is published here
The blog quotes real prices, real timelines and real regulatory rules. Here is who writes it, where the numbers come from, and what happens when something is wrong.

Who writes it
Every article on this site is written by Neda Yavari, who runs Proxima. There are no guest posts, no ghostwriters and no contributed articles from other companies. The byline on a post is the person who wrote it and the person accountable for it.
That also means the perspective is a working one rather than a neutral one. These are the views of somebody who designs and builds these websites for a living, and who has a commercial interest in you deciding a good website is worth paying for. Read them with that in mind.
Where the numbers come from
Prices, timelines and thresholds are researched against primary sources at the time of writing: the published pricing pages of the platforms discussed, current HMRC and Companies House guidance, and the regulators that actually govern the sector a post is about, such as the SRA for law firms, the GDC and CQC for dental and medical practices, and the ICO for anything touching data protection.
Where a figure describes what Proxima itself charges or delivers, it is what Proxima actually charges and delivers. We would rather write a range than invent a precise number.
Where a figure is an estimate or a market average rather than a fixed price, the post says so.
Dates, updates and corrections
Every post carries the date it was published, and the date it was last substantively revised if it has been. A post about 2026 pricing is only useful if you can see when it was written.
Posts covering prices or regulation are reviewed as those things change, not on a schedule for its own sake. When a post is revised, the change is made in the body of the article rather than appended as a note, and the updated date moves.
If a correction changes the meaning of something a reader may have already acted on, we say what changed rather than quietly editing it.
What we will not do
- No sponsored posts. Nobody pays to appear here.
- No affiliate links. When a post names a platform or a tool, no commission is earned from it either way.
- No fabricated case studies, invented statistics or made-up client quotes.
- No reviews or testimonials that a real client did not give.
How the writing is produced
Software helps with research and drafting here as it does in most studios. What matters is what that changes about your side of it: nothing is published that has not been read line by line, fact-checked and signed off by Neda, and Proxima takes full responsibility for every claim on this site as though it had been typed by hand. If something here is wrong, it is our mistake, not a tool's.
Telling us we got it wrong
If you spot an error, an out-of-date figure or a claim that no longer holds, email hello@proximastudio.co.uk with the page and what is wrong with it. Corrections to factual errors are made as soon as they are confirmed, and you do not have to be a client to report one.
